This property has water security that makes many jealous. The 24 acres is regularly slashed and bailed twice in the season, around Christmas and Easter. A local farmer, John Griffiths completes the work, takes the crop and in return, repairs the fences and does yearly blackberry control. A great system for everyone!
The property has a separate house block and three paddocks divided by natural fern gullies and heaps of blackwoods. A spring next to the house block is in the Little Aire system. The backyard boasts over 30 mature blueberry bushes, an established Kiwi vine, over 30 rhubarb plants and currently masses of garlic heading to maturity by December. Outside also has a deck that wraps around one side and the back, and a paved fire pit area.
The home has three bedrooms with open style robes in each, lounge with wood heater, and the kitchen with a sliding door out to the deck. The stove runs on dual bottled gas. There is also a near new electric hot water service around the rear of the house. Privacy at the front of the property is given by blackwoods and a native garden.
