A state-of-the-art collaboration by Page Stewart Architecture and Interior Design, Alto Landscapes, and acclaimed builders RoomFour has transformed this Edwardian treasure into a showcase of contemporary artistry.
Awe-inspiring beyond a meticulously restored, tuck-pointed brick façade and tessellated verandah, every curve and contour has been purposefully designed to engage light and create a genuine sense of harmony between spaces. Oak floors by MadebyStorey guide the journey through formal and relaxed domains, leading to a sitting room adorned with original features including a spectacular bay window with restored leadlight and stone-surround fireplace. The transition into modern living feels effortless yet intentional, centred around a luxurious kitchen appointed with integrated Smeg and Liebherr appliances, a walk-in pantry, and seamless American oak veneer joinery. The curved island bench is mirrored in the media cabinetry and rendered gas fireplace, while the ceiling arcs above the dining zone are complemented by a circular architectural skylight. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors retract entirely on the corner to open the living and dining areas to the high-walled al-fresco courtyard, complete with a Beefeater built-in BBQ kitchen.
Accommodation is divided across two upper wings, providing exceptional versatility. Ascending a sky-lit stairwell, the indulgent main suite features a LED-lit walk-in robe, an integrated make-up table, and a lavish twin en-suite with a freestanding bath. A second bedroom, also with an en-suite, shares this level. The rear wing affords independence for guests or larger families, featuring two additional bedrooms with robes, a north-facing lounge, and a refined, sky-lit central bathroom.
Comprehensively appointed, it includes multi-zoned refrigerated heating and cooling, underfloor heating in all bathrooms, an 8.26kW solar system, in-ceiling Sonos sound system, advanced CCTV and alarm security, laundry, fourth bathroom, motorised curtains and external blinds, and a remote double garage via Little Graham Street. Moments from the beach, Bridport Street Village, Albert Park College and Primary School, and with cafes and the No. 1 tram at the door, it’s an address defined by prestige.
